September is National Preparedness Month and the American Red Cross is urging everyone in Southern California to take five simple steps to prepare for disasters so that they can say “I’m Ready.”

All month long residents of Southern California are invited to participate in free virtual classes and self-guided tools as part of the Red Cross PrepareSoCal campaign designed to make every household ready for disasters like wildfires, earthquakes and home fires.

Everyone who attends a virtual class or successfully completes the self-guided evaluation at during the month of September will receive a free “I’m Ready” sticker pack to celebrate their success with friends, family and neighbors.
