Unheard LA – live in Little Tokyo

Past Event
Unheard LA is a celebration of the stories and experiences that give shape to Los Angeles. It’s fitting then that we continue our third season in the historic downtown neighborhood of Little Tokyo. With a history dating back to the 1880s, Little Tokyo is the largest and most populous of the remaining “Japantowns” in the United States.
Crime and policing – a conversation determined by you (SoCal Solutions)

Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

KPCC In Person is talking law enforcement, and you picked the topic. We started by inviting your questions on crime and public safety. We narrowed them to three, and you let us know what matters most by voting for the question you wanted as the focus of our conversation. The responses have been tallied, and the top vote-getter is: “Does law enforcement’s routine lack of transparency foster corruption, abuse, nepotism, wrongful convictions, discrimination, prejudice?”
