Hundreds of motorcyclists to parade through Southern California today

Police will escort undreds of motorcycles as they parade 56 miles through the San Fernando Valley, Malibu Canyon, PCH, the Westside and Hollywood today.

Freeway ramps and intersections will be blocked for about 15 minutes at a time as the motorcade passes, Los Angeles police officers said.

The parade begins at 10:25 a.m. in the West Valley, and will use Tampa Avenue to the Ventura (101) Freeway. From there it will snake west on the 101 south through Malibu Canyon, and then east on PCH through Malibu.

From Santa Monica, the motorcycles will use the Santa Monica (10) and San Diego (405) freeways back to the San Fernando Valley, where they will turn east on the 101 to head to a party at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
