If you’re heading to LAX Saturday, better steer clear of the 105 Freeway near the airport.

The eastbound 105 Freeway will be closed between Sepulveda Boulevard and the 405 Freeway from 5am to 8pm. That’s a 15-hour daytime closure.

CalTrans says it’s because a car company will be filming a commercial on that stretch of freeway.

So heading to LAX on the 105 shouldn’t be a problem, if you’re coming from the east. But if you want to hop on the 105 after picking up or dropping off someone at the airport, you’ll have to head east on Century Boulevard, Imperial Highway or another east-west street and catch the freeway further down, past the closure.

This isn’t the first time the 105 has been shut down to film something. A few years ago, part of it was shut down to film one of the “Die Hard” movies. And before the 105 opened, film producers used it for the Keanu Reeves movie, “Speed.”
