One Hollywood truism holds that the Producers Guild award winners are very likely to score Oscars in key categories. Get out your scoresheets – here are a few highlights from the producers’ nominations announced Tuesday.

The Producers Guild nominates 10 films for its outstanding producer award, and this year’s list contains just about every movie that’s generated early Oscar buzz: “Inception,” “Toy Story 3,” “The King’s Speech,” “True Grit,” “The Fighter,” “Black Swan,” “The Social Network,” “The Kids are All Right,” “The Town” and “127 Hours.”

Last award season, the first in recent history that included 10 Academy Award nominees for Best Picture, the Producers Guild included eight of the films on that list. This year the guild’s also nominated three animated features including “Toy Story 3,” and six documentaries.

It’ll present awards for these and a long list of television productions at a January 22 ceremony in the Beverly Hills Hotel. That’s three days before the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the Oscar nominations on January 25.
