A man who allegedly robbed a bank Tuesday in Orange County said he wanted to be arrested because he was homeless and needed shelter and medicine.

When police responded to the robbery at the Westminster Wells Fargo, they found the unarmed suspect still at the bank.
James Lannon, 55,  was sitting in the lobby, waiting.
He told officers he’d spent the night on the streets and wanted shelter.
Police also said Lannon said he needed heart medication he couldn't afford.
Normally the FBI works bank robberies, but in this case Westminster Police are handling the case, likely because Lannon hasn’t been connected with any other robberies.
He did have several arrest warrants and is being held on $100,000 bail.
