Officials say a woman was killed and two police officers were injured in a fire at a La Habra mobile home.

The Los Angeles Times reports the woman, believed to be in her 50s, was killed after the fire Monday at a mobile home park on Lambert Road near Beach Boulevard.

County fire Capt. Thomas Richards says the fire started at about 4:30 p.m. and firefighters put it out in about 23 minutes but found the woman's body when they searched the trailer.

Richards says the police officers tried to work their way into the mobile home and were overcome by smoke. Their condition and the fire's cause were not immediately known.
