Southern California Public Radio has won in all six categories it entered for the 2013 EPPY Awards, including top honors for "Best News Website" for under 1 million unique monthly visitors.

KPCC was also recognized as "Best Mobile Website" in its class, and KPCC's blog of visual journalism, AudioVision, won for "Best Use of Photography on a Website" and "Best Overall Website Design."

"Bilingual Learning," a special project covering the science, options, and dilemma of dual language education, earned recognition as the "Best News or Event Feature on a Website."

And KPCC's Fire Tracker was awarded as "Best Community Service on
a Media-Affiliated Website." The interactive site brings daily updates on fires throughout the state, including the Rim Fire, which burned into the history books this summer as the third largest fire recorded in California.

The EPPY Awards are presented by Editor & Publisher, the trade journal covering the newspaper industry. The awards were announced on the journal's website late Wednesday morning.
