Areas of the parched Inland Empire were soaked Tuesday, as the remnants of Hurricane Odile reached parts of Southern California.
Portions of Elsinore High School in Wildomar were damaged by the heavy rains, Riverside County Fire told City News Service.
The agency reports:
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, crews were called to Elsinore High School at 21800 Canyon Drive around 3 p.m. in response to weather- related damage.
A portion of the campus was flooded after an intense downpour that also knocked down power lines at the location, a fire department spokeswoman said.
