Five people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds after someone began firing at them from a car near Pamona's Palomares Park Saturday night, police said. 

Pomona police said in a statement that they received calls around 7:55 p.m. that a suspect had opened fire from a car near the park.:

"Shortly thereafter, the police department was notified that victims suffering from gunshot wounds were arriving by personal vehicles at the Pomona Valley Medical Center. The five victims arrived at the hospital suffering from single gunshot wounds. The victims are all in stable condition and are being treated at the hospital."

The victims have been identified as 31-year-old Marshaun Logan of Pomona; Chandrea Gilchrist, 34, of Ontario; Frederick Turnbow, 56, of Pomona; Douglas Titus, 34, of Pomona; and Rochelle Boyd, 43, of Claremont.

Police don't have a motive or suspect, and aren't sure if the attack was gang-related, Lt. Ronald McDonald of the Pomona police department said.
