A freshman at Garden Grove's Bolsa Grande High School has been arrested in connection with making bomb and shooting threats, NBC L.A. reports.
Tuesday, a student found a note saying there was a bomb somewhere on campus, NBC L.A. reports. The student gave the note to school staff, which led to the school being put on lockdown.
Another note Wednesday said there would be a shooting at the school, leading police to increase patrols, NBC L.A. reports. School staff later recognized the handwriting as possibly belonging to a student.
Evidence has been seized and authorities are investigating whether the student responsible for the notes was also behind a suspicious fire at the campus on Sunday, NBC L.A. reports.
