Los Angeles authorities say nobody was hurt when an SUV crashed through the front window of an office of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
Tracey Reiman, PETA's executive vice president, says staffers heard a loud boom and suddenly the vehicle was fully inside the building late Friday morning.
She tells KNBC-TV that just minutes earlier staffers had been sitting in a couch that was crushed in the crash. A plate glass window and other furniture was destroyed.
Fire department officials say nobody was injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
