Christmas came early for Kalluk, Tatqiq and Chinook, the polar bears of San Diego Zoo.

Their gift? Nearly 26 tons of fluffy white snow.

Polar bears living in SoCal rarely get to see snow. A press statement from the zoo said that the frosty treat was made possible by donations to the Animal Care Wish List.

The statement also said that enrichment, like the snow, allows the bears to engage in natural behaviors like pouncing in the snow.

And pounce they did.
