Driving in Hollywood? Be aware of these Academy Awards road closures

Driving through Hollywood may become a challenge in the next two weeks with the set-up, production and tear-down for the Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre on Feb. 28 requiring multiple road and sidewalk closures.

With preparation for the Academy Awards already underway, the following road and sidewalk closures are now in effect:

On Feb. 21 the following closures will go into effect until 6 a.m. on March 1:

On Feb. 22 the following closure will go into effect until 6 a.m. on March 1:

On Feb. 26 the following closure will go into effect until 6 a.m. on Feb. 29:

On Feb. 27 the following closures will go into effect until 6 a.m. on Feb. 29:

On Feb. 28, the day of the event, the following closures will go into effect:

 

From 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 28 until 6 a.m. on Feb. 29

From 4 a.m. on Feb. 28 until 6 a.m. on Feb. 29

From 4 a.m. on Feb. 28 until 4 a.m. on Feb. 29

There will also be restricted access on streets that end at or intersect with Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue at the discretion of the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
