6 places to pay tribute to Prince on Thursday night in Los Angeles

Prince doesn't have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame so you'll have to find another way to pay tribute to the Purple One, who passed away Thursday morning. Fortunately, some Los Angeles locales will honor Prince this evening.

A candlelight vigil will be held in Leimert Park at 6 p.m., according to The Los Angeles Wave, which quotes local activist Najee Ali, but doesn't provide details on the precise location.

The Bar B Que Bar in North Hollywood is hosting a special "Princely edition" of Wax On with DJs spinning vinyl tunes to honor Prince, starting at 7 p.m.

The Other Door in North Hollywood is holding a "Prince Memorial Drinkening" starting at 8 p.m., described as "an informal celebration of Prince's ferocious individuality" that will also include lighting candles in his honor.

The cabaret/burlesque/drag show Room Service Cabaret is having a tribute to Prince, with doors opening at 9 p.m. at the Rivera 31 bar.

Downtown gay bar Precinct DTLA is hosting Dearly Beloved — A Night of Prince starting at 10 p.m.

Footsies in Highland Park has been holding Prince night every Thursday for the last two years, but this evening will be one to mourn, starting at 10 p.m.
