Westbound Interstate 210 is open again in Pasadena after a weekend closure for pavement repairs.

Caltrans announced that the freeway reopened at 3:45 a.m. Monday, more than an hour ahead of schedule.

All westbound lanes and some ramps were closed Friday night near Lake Avenue as crews worked as part of an ongoing $148 million pavement rehabilitation project.

Interstate 210 is a major connector between Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.
