The pro football season hasn't officially begun but the L.A. Rams are having a good preseason.
On Saturday evening they eked out a win against the Kansas City Chiefs thanks to a fourth-quarter touchdown pass. With 10 minutes, 30 seconds left, quarterback Jared Goff connected with running back Malcom Brown for a 21-20 victory.
It's only the second game the L.A. Rams have played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum — and they had plenty of support.
Wearing their blue and gold regalia, fans came prepared to party. Coolers stocked with beer. Grills sizzling with hot dogs, burgers and carne asada. Comfy chairs, pop-up tents, TV screens and full tailgating accessories. Supporters of the team were out in force.
Nearly 81,000 tickets were distributed although attendance figures are not announced for NFL games.
The Rams also won last Saturday's preseason game — their first NFL game in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum since 1994 — against the Dallas Cowboys, 28-24.
