Southern California is getting a break from the rain following days of downpours and light showers. It will be dry for most of Wednesday through Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
But Sunday, there will be a change in the weather — just in time for the Oscars, the rain will return, dropping an inch over two days.
National Weather Service spokesperson Stuart Seto said light snow is possible at lower elevations.
"The snow levels by Thursday morning should be down to 4,000 feet, so that could impact the Grapevine," Seto said.
Highs around 60 degrees are expected into the weekend.
