The long holiday is over, but the party hasn't stopped. There's music and dancing all over Los Angeles, featuring a wide array of music genres. Plus, several annual SoCal summer events are making their return this weekend, including Jazz at LACMA and the Outfest movie festival. So pick your favorite way to move or be moved, and let's get to it.
More than 75 vendors will be showcasing their vegan eats and products at this food and music festival. Head to Rainbow Lagoon Park for a vegan chili cook-off, art installations and even vegan speed dating. For the little ones, there's a yoga obstacle course and face painting. And of course, you can't miss the vegan funnel cakes.
CULTURE VULTURE PICK
The two-week-long film festival kicks off on Thursday with a swanky Opening Gala and screening of "God's Own Country," but there are plenty of chances to see the best in LGBTQ filmmakers all weekend long. One of the highlights on Saturday is an hour of Cartoon Network’s Emmy-nominated series "Steven Universe," with episodes handpicked by show creator Rebecca Sugar.

Shop under the sun for tons of unique products, including jewelry, ceramics, clothing, home decor and prints. Renegade Craft Fair has curated their vendors to offer both national and local makers. When you're all shopped out, there's DIY workshops, a photo booth and food trucks to enjoy while taking in the view of the L.A. skyline.

Head downtown for a taste of chips and dip. The festival has a tasting tent where you can sample everything from salsa roja to Mexican mole. If you're looking for a little more than a taste test, there are also plenty of food vendors serving up tacos and other Latin eats. The weekend wouldn't be complete without a little salsa dancing as well, so there will be live music, performances and even some lessons.

WHERE: Grand Park MAP
If salsa dancing isn't your style, perhaps line dancing is! Cowboy boots aren't required, but definitely stomp the night away at this DTLA park. There will be line dancing lessons and freestyle two-stepping, along with a great country music playlist. Grand Park is hosting dance nights every Friday during the summer featuring different styles of dance.

The annual summer showcase at LACMA is back. First up is jazz guitarist Grant Geissman, who was nominated for an Emmy for co-writing the theme for the "Two and a Half Men" television show. Jazz at LACMA will continue every Friday through the rest of the summer.
