Woman shot, killed in Pasadena

A woman was shot and killed in Pasadena early this morning. Police responded to the 100 block of W. Peoria Street at 1:45 a.m. Officers said they arrived on the scene and found a Black female in her 40’s.

Paramedics from the fire department arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital where she died.

Detectives are investigating and no further information was released. 

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending release from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
