Metrolink riders may experience train delays and cancellations Friday morning as the transit system makes track repairs. Flash flooding Thursday night washed out a section of the Antelope Valley Line track between the Via Princessa and Vincent Grade/Acton stations.

On Friday morning, trains 200 and 202 between Lancaster and Union Station in Los Angeles, in addition to Antelope Valley Line 282, have been canceled, according to Metrolink. Line 206 has also been canceled because of delays due to speed restrictions. Trains are operating at reduced speeds during track work, which will lead to delays.

Train 285 will be operating between Palmdale and Union Station.

Monsoonal air caused a severe downpour in Antelope Valley Thursday night. The storm flooded streets and even trapped one driver in Acton.
