Authorities briefly closed part of the Tom Bradley Terminal at the Los Angeles International Airport Sunday night, after a suspicious package was reported.
The baggage claim in the terminal's lower level was shut down shortly before 5:30 p.m., and traveler and vehicle traffic was temporarily diverted to the upper level.
A bomb squad was called to investigate and quickly cleared the package.
Meanwhile, travelers posted to social media about the evacuation.
No other terminals were affected, but police warned travelers and drivers dropping or picking up passengers to expect delays.
