Authorities briefly closed part of the Tom Bradley Terminal at the Los Angeles International Airport  Sunday night, after a suspicious package was reported.

The baggage claim in the terminal's lower level was shut down shortly before 5:30 p.m., and traveler and vehicle traffic was temporarily diverted to the upper level.

A bomb squad was called to investigate and quickly cleared the package.
