Southern Californian's poured into the streets Saturday joining demonstrators nationwide participating in the Women's March, a follow up to last year's historic protest against the election of President Donald Trump and his inauguration.

This year 300,000 rallied in downtown Los Angeles, from Pershing Square to Grand Park.

We compiled photos of the signs and people from the march here below. First, you'll find images by photographer James Bernal. He asked demonstrators to write down who their female heroes were and pose for a picture. Then, you'll find a round up of notable social media posts from the demonstration.
