KPCC is looking for our next podcast — and we are accepting pitches from our listeners!
We’re looking for the next generation of talent to help us tell diverse stories that matter to California and beyond. Women, people of color and LGBTQIA people are especially encouraged to send in their ideas.
While you're thinking of your best idea, here are some things to consider:
- What question does your show strive to answer or explore?
- Why is now the right time to make your idea?
- Why are you the right person to tell that story?
Our pitch form is now open. We will be keeping it up all year, but we'll only be actively searching for our next project until Wednesday, Feb. 28.
We'll do our best to get back to you within a month of the time you submit. But, fair warning, we may miss that deadline once in a while. (There are a lot more of you than there are of us!)
On February 1st we published an incomplete pitch form. After we were alerted the form was unfinished we removed it. The post now includes a link to the completed form. We will be looking at submissions from February 14th to February 28th. If you have any questions you can reach the department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
