Officials by Friday to count ballots of voters whose names went missing from LA County rolls

It’s been a week and a half since a massive printing error left about 118,000 names off polling place rosters in Los Angeles County during the statewide primary election on June 5. Until now, the voters whose names were missing from the rolls have been largely left in the dark about the status of the provisional ballots they cast.

On Friday, L.A. County election officials were set to complete the count of those ballots.
