It’s about to get a little easier to travel around on the Westside. The L.A. Department of Transportation kicked off the pilot run this week of LANow, their new on-demand ride-share program.

The fleet of green and blue shuttles will pick up and drop off customers at dozens of designated stops within the Del Rey, Venice, Mar Vista and Palms area. And the trip only costs $1.50 a ride - much cheaper than Lyft or Uber.
