How did an art teacher make a difference in your life?

Priska Neely/KPCC

KPCC arts education reporter Carla Javier is creating a series of radio stories about the teachers who have made an impact on their personal and creative lives.

We want to hear your stories about the teachers — particularly, the teachers who taught you the arts or how to think creatively — who made a difference in your life.

Maybe introducing you to theater helped you become more confident, or maybe your teacher helped you get a dance scholarship that helped you pay for college?

Are you interested in sharing your story? Fill out the form below. We read every submission, and look forward to being in touch. Know other teachers and students – past or present – whose stories we should share? Send them this page, or send a note to cjavier@scpr.org.

We’ll read every response, but nothing is published without your permission.
