Julian Castro is the fourth Democratic presidential candidate to endorse Measure EE, the proposed L.A. Unified School District parcel tax on next Tuesday's ballot. Democrats Pete Buttigieg and Jay Inslee also came out in support during earlier campaign stops in L.A., and Sen. Kamala Harris is also backing the proposed tax.

Measure EE proposes a 16-cent-per-square foot parcel tax on some residential and commercial properties,  enough to raise an estimated $500 million that LAUSD says it would use to make permanent its promises to lower class sizes and hire more support staff.
