Today the Trump administration announced a rule that aims to make it harder for immigrants who use public services to get a green card.

The news is unsettling the Asian immigrant community, the fastest-growing immigrant group. In Los Angeles, tens of thousands of Asian immigrants could be affected because many use public health care and housing vouchers, according to Laboni Hoq, a lawyer at Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
