Here in California, unemployment climbed two tenths of a percent last month. The jobless rate now stands at an even 12 percent. In the Central Valley the jobless rate is typically much higher than the state average. In fact, Fresno recently came in last in a national ranking of the top 100 major job markets. Unemployment there is 16.7 percent. So what's it like to try and find a job in Fresno? The California Report's Central Valley Bureau Chief Sasha Khokha brings us one woman's story.
