When a controversial budget deal passed last year ruling Democrats in the California legislature needed a handful of Republicans to cross the aisle, in order to reach the 2/3 vote requirement. One of those Republicans was Assemblyman Anthony Adams, who accepted that he would draw the ire of conservatives by voting for tax increases. Now a recall drive against Assemblyman Adams is about to get enough signatures to qualify for the ballot—can he survive?
