Water Main Break
Let's give you a quick update on a big water main break in South L.A. Water started flowing at 5 a.m. around Towne Avenue and East 55th Street. It's flooded several streets and LADWP has crews there to fix things.

Malibu Lagoon
If you've driven on Pacific Coast Highway up near Malibu. You may have noticed Malibu Lagoon near Civic center drive and Cross Creed road. It's a shallow water estuary sprawling across 31 acres of wetlands and home to an array of birds, fish and vegetation. In 2013 the project to enhance water quality and restore habitat conditions at the lagoon was completed, and long term scientific monitoring began. Since then, the non-profit environmental group The Bay Foundation has hosted monthly monitoring and maintenance events open to the public Last month was the first clean up since Woolsey fire.

Las Posadas
Every year, from December 16th to the 24th, Mexican communities across Southern California celebrate the holiday season with Las Posadas with revelers recreating the journey of Mary and Joseph as they crossed Bethlehem looking for shelter on the eve of Jesus' birth. Earlier this week, Take Two contributor Betto Arcos took part in a Posada happening in South LA.
