...On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Starts at 7:45)

Since the early 1970s, photographer Annie Leibovitz has embedded herself in nearly every facet of American pop culture. Known best for her portrait work, she’s photographed celebrities and politicians alike, from Richard Nixon to John Lennon and Yoko Ono. She was even spotted at a recent Beto O’Rourke rally on the border. Her early work is now on display at Hauser & Wirth gallery in the arts district of downtown Los Angeles. "Annie Leibovitz. The Early Years, 1970 – 1983: Archive Project No. 1" chronicles her work at Rolling Stone magazine and her early photographs of musicians. John Horn spoke with Leibovitz as they walked through the show.
